D4L Star's Charges Dropped
The hip-hop star - real name Lafabian Williams - and his pal Curtis Alfonso Watkins were pulled over by South Carolina cops in February 2006, and a subsequent search of their car turned up various illegal substances and weapons.
Fabo, a convicted felon, was charged with possession of marijuana and ecstasy, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and carrying a concealed weapon.
However, on Tuesday, the district attorney's office decided not to pursue the charges against Fabo, after his co-defendant Watkins accepted full responsibility for the guns and drugs.
Watkins pleaded guilty to the counts and was sentenced to 15 years' probation. He was also fined $3,700.

Carey Passes Elvis In Chart Topping Songs
The pop diva's new song, Touch My Body, has surged up the Billboard Hot 100 countdown after being made available as a digital download earlier last week.
Carey has now claimed her 18th number one, leaving her just two chart-toppers shy of the Beatles' record.
Carey just passed Elvis Presley - who topped the U.S. pop charts 17 times.
The pop superstar recently told Billboard that she's often reminded of the Beatles' record, but, "it's not like I sit around thinking about that type of stuff while I'm creating something."
But Carey, who celebrated the news while on a promotional tour in London, insists she could never compare herself to musical greats such as Presley and The Beatles; she's just pleased to still be enjoying success 18 years after releasing her first album. She says, "I really can never put myself in the category of people who have not only revolutionized music but also changed the world. That's a completely different era and time ... I'm just feeling really happy and grateful."

Report: Beyonce, Jay-Z Get Marriage License
Singers Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z obtained a marriage license Tuesday in Scarsdale, N.Y., a source told People magazine.
The license is valid for 60 days.
The magazine said Beyonce's representative declined to comment on its story, while Jay-Z's publicist couldn't be reached.
Although the couple has been dating since 2002, the recording artists rarely discuss their relationship in public. DIV

Wyclef Urges Haitians To Stop The Crime
Rapper Wyclef Jean has taken to the airwaves in his native Haiti to encourage his fellow countrymen to stop committing "evil" crimes.
The former Fugees star - who was appointed as an ambassador for Haiti last year - has recorded a radio message in Creole, calling for an end to the increasing number of rape and kidnapping cases.
In the advertisement, he says, "If you love Wyclef that means you love Haiti. So you should not be raping women, kidnapping people and children. There can be no excuse for doing so.
"I reject these evil practices."
Kidnapping is a major problem in the Caribbean country - 36 people have been abducted from the capital Port-au-Prince in March alone.
The message will be played by local radio stations across the country.
