About Me

Love is my weakness and my strength.Depressively optimistic, cynically romantic, misogynistic feminism. Kind of funny, but mostly just pissed off. She defines and destroys our outlooks on love. Not advisable for the weak hearted.Priscilla is a writer, poet, artist and co-founder of the events organisation 'T-Shirt & Jeans.' She is the author of 'Paper Perfect' - A collection of poetry which takes us through an exploration of moments; essentially considering the conflicts we experience between our romantic ideals and the realities of what love actually is...not always perfect, not always as we imagined, and sometimes too painfully real.'Paper Perfect' is available to buy on-line via her website: www.agirlcalledpriscilla.co.uk

My Interests

Love, music, madness, genius, philosophy, psychology, artistry, sociology, stories, poetry, thinking too much, chocolate and sleeping.

I'd like to meet:

Writers, poets, musicians, artists, intellectuals, creatives, people who support the arts and people with soul.'No one can go back and make a brand new start my friend,
But anyone can start from here and make a new end.'
anon.

Music:

All the girly angst shit...top 3 are Alanis, Tori, Lisa Loeb...still ain't found a lady who writes better lyrics than Alanis though - that self obsessed whore :) !!! Also loving Regina Spektor, Feist, The Postal Service, Reindeer Section and Nickel Creek.

Movies:

Err can't remember movies...rubbish ones I like that come to mind are Frida, Joy Luck Club, Eternal Sunshine, A Room For Romeo Brass, Napolean Dynamite, Match Point, Eat Drink Man Woman, Prime, movies directed by Kim Ki-Duk, A Moment To Remember - that's a Korean movie and it makes me cry so hard I have to take a nap afterwards. I sound really stoopid now :) !!

Television:

TV steals your life. I don't watch it. Programming is controlled by cretins and TV producers are governed by money not creativity or art or anything of value to my life.

Books:

Betsy Lerner, Marge Piercy, Plath, Sophie Hannah, Tony Vigorito...got tons of books in my room but don't get time to read them all :(

Heroes:

God and myself. Go ahead and laugh.
