About my music
Hello everybody, I'm Di-chy (want it pronounced 'dái tsi'), a music freak from Japan who's also identified for another alias EARTHQUASAR. I've been deep into listening to, playing and composing music since I was about 10, and now, my new MySpace friends, each of who has a wonderful taste of music, are really motivating and inspiring me to make more music. I'm happy to be here on MySpace so I can bring my music to the world and you can hear it.
Although I'm now obliged to work every weekday as a system engineer for my living, I just realize how much I love to make music and hope I can keep on doing it until the end. Feel free to call to me whenever you'd like to do something with me. ( E-mail )

Devon Howard , a wonderfully talented R&B artist in the US, took me for his remix album project, and that's the very first CD out with my music included. Although we've never even met off the Internet, I couldn't thank him enough for letting my remixes released to the world. Please click the picture on the left and check it out.

Influences:
First of all, I'd like to state that I'm an "R&B fanatic" who also loves hip-hop, pop and some dance music.

Along with hip-hop soul and pop-oriented R&B, one of my most favorite styles of music is so-called neo soul, which is made from '70s-oriented soul music with the hardness of hip-hop, by such artists as Tony Toni Tone, D'Angelo, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, India.Arie, Jill Scott, Dwele, Rahsaan Patterson and Anthony Hamilton.

Of course I love rap music, though unfortunately being not good enough at English to understand all lyrics that they're rapping. My favorite MCs include Guru, Heavy D, Ghostface, Common, Kanye West and Lupe Fiasco.

I've recently found my music really influenced by '80s sounds. Not to mention R&B legends from that era such as Prince, Luther, Freddie, Anita, Bootsy, Rick, Teena, Michael, Janet, Jody, Bobby and Whitney, I also like a lot of new wave, synth pop and even eurobeat artists including Madonna, Kylie Minogue, PSB, Eurythmics, Robert Palmer, Bonnie Tyler, Duran Duran, The Police and many others.
