Alive At Last started in late '05, when Matt decided to get back into music after a long break. After an exhausting search, he found Neal and musically they hit it off right away. About a month later they found Marc and thought he'd be the perfect fit for the band. Several drummers later, Matt's long time friend and former bandmate Walter filled the position. Deciding to add a second guitarist, they tried out some musicians and are happy to have found Dean, the final piece to the puzzle.
In the summer of '06, a tough decision was made. Marc decided to leave the band to move to Arizona with his family. We appreciate everything he has done for us and he will be long remembered. We wish him and his family the best of luck, and he will be missed!
After the departure of Marc, we were worried that we wouldn't be able to find someone to replace him without losing a step. And we all thought it would be tough to find someone to fill those shoes. Rob (bassist from Heartfelt Discord) came to a practice one night and picked up the mic and it hasn't left his hand since.
...So the saga continues...
The band's goal here is to just go out and play good old fashioned hardcore and have a fun time doing it. Alive At Last focuses on hanging out with friends, playing shows, meeting new people, and spreading a positive message.
