Folks from all over who can fill me in on what it's like beyond the shores of Manhattan Island. I love New York City deeply as it is my hometown, but there are times when I feel I'm missing out on what's out there in this huge, beautiful country. I'd like to meet people who are honest and can become true friends.
House, Disco, Latin Jazz, Big Band (1940s), Classic Soul (1960's & 70's).
Any foreign films that has either English or Spanish subtitles. (What the heck, its not all about Hollywood). A great script is something to be treasured. Independent films are wonderful. I like comedies (...how I love a good laugh), SciFi movies (am a trekkie), Anime (yes, there is some high quality stuff out there), and am guilty of enjoying chick flicks. I choose to skip slasher flicks (too much blood).
All Discovery Channels, Animal Planet, History Channel, IFC, AMC, TCM, TNT, TBS, PBS, Spanish Language TV.
Hard to categorize; just love all of them. Shoulda been a librarian.
