The first time I went to a real club was the original Inferno's on W. 19th St. I new that is where I belonged. Hitting the clubs like The Promoter Manor, The Unexpected, The Upstairs Lounge, Galaxy, Ipanema's, Infinity, just to name a few. Just about everynight there was a club to go to and that was a way of life then. I went uphill from there. I graduated to the like's of Studio 54, Melon's, The Garage and ultimately my home The LOFT. I knew back then all I wanted to do was to have my own parties. After many many years of supporting the party scene I finally did it. In late 1997 I hooked up with 2 friends and created the DBD Productions SOS parties at a recording studio at 226 W. 26th St. Homecooking, good friends, BYOB, music and dance were the main courses of the evening. I have been told that these parties have helped jump start all the smaller venue parties then and that are now in full bloom today. Yesterday, today and tomorrow Music and Dance is the way of life.
