..My name is Darrell but everybody calls me "Doobee" I had that nickname since birth. I'm a Capricorn. I'm from Pittsburgh PA, AKA "Steeler Nation". I moved to NYC in Aug of 2002. Since then I have worked in several music studios, Quad Recording in Times Square (Where 2Pac was shot). Platinum Sound (Wyclefs) Studio. Daddy's House (Puffy's Studio). I worked for Universal Music Germany in Berlin, with legendery hip-hop producer "Keyboard Money Mike" of Boogie Down Productions. I co-wrote, co-produced and starred in 2 movies:"Trust Me" where a play a retarded guy who is learning to be a pimp. And "Impluse" where I play a sex hungry music producer, it was written to be a 2005 version of the movie Sparkle feat. Irene Carrie.Now I work for Jimmy "Henchmen" CZAR-Entertainment, as a manager for Artist such as: GAME, MARIO WINANS, BERG 4.0 CURTAINS, . I also do A&R for the company. I hang out and party with alot of famous people and I have traveled all over the world touring and producing. Music:

I love all music, My Dad was a Jazz musician and radio DJ so I always had music around me. I worked on all kinds of music from Jay-Z to Maroon 5, Kayne West, to the music for the Broadway play Nottingham. I just love music.

Movies:

I love Movies, I love to study them and disect them. I love to watch those old movies on AMC, I love the dialoge, It's like poetry every word and phrase is so well thought of and planed. It's almost over the top dramatic. The last movie I seen that I loved was "Lord of War" with Nicohlas Cage. I must have watched it about the 10 times and watch the directors commentry about 15 times. I love funny movies too. I feel like I escape when I watch them. 2 of my favorites movies are of course deal with music, Neil Diamond's "The Jazz Singer" & "The Idol Maker" A movie about a music producer that came out in 82.

Television:

I love Larry David's "Curb Your Enthsium" I meet him and his really like that! HBO's "Entourage" "The Office", The Contender & Ultimate Fighter.

Books:

I love self help books, & books about 70's hustlers. One of my favorite books is "The Artist Way" byJulia Cameron a book on how to release your creativity through Sprituality & "Visions of a BlackMan" by Nakim Akbar

Heroes:

My Heros are My Grandad "Alfred G. Malone" He had a good Heart and he didn't take any shit from no one. He allways told me "Be A Leader, Never A Follower". My Mom for being such a stong black Woman & My Dad for being so real with me allways and my Uncle Timmy for teaching me about building charcter and the importance of GOD in my life.
