Stab Me Recordings

A record label founded by the creators of Establishment Clothing. Stab Me is a label with rare releases and never before heard tracks from your favorite artists. In the summer of 2003 Establishment Clothing, Stab Me Recordings, and Lorlei Records released "This Is Your Establishment" Vol.1 A compilation to benifet The Center for Constitutional Rights. The comp included bands such as Autopilot Off, Spitalfield, The Start, Rufio, Over It, and Yellowcard. This led to the labels first official release. A 7 inch record from Austin, Tx greats Dynamite Boy (Fearless Records) was given birth. The record was a hit, leading to further the record label and to inspire yet another release with the band. The boys headed back in the studio to record with fellow Austin band Cruiserweight (Doghouse Records) to release a split cd. The two bands picked three of their favorite songs by each other and recorded them as they were their own. Since then Stab Me has not only been putting out fun and rare releases from your favorite bands. The label has also taken upon it's self to help release up and coming artists of today. In 2004 Stab Me Recordings released "long story short" the first EP cd release from New Jersey boys The Finals, who have since signed to Immortal Records. In 2005 the label released their 4th pressing and second 7 inch. This time with San Antonio, Tx artists Girl In A Coma. The 7 inch was a limited of 500 copies and in just 2 days it sold close to 200 copies. The Girls have since worked with Boz Boorer of Morrissey, Eric Sanger of The Start and have signed to BlackHeart Records. Stab Me Recordings is always open to NEW and ALL types of music and continues to hold ground today.
