Helping establish the punk scene in San Antonio molding clubs like Sin 13 and The Sanctuary. Performing at Warped Tour, Punk O Rama, and opening for acts such as Unwritten Law, The Ataris, Riddlin kids, and Over It. The band has held a strong mark around San Antonio for over 11 years. PerK, also managed to be the first punk band in San Antonio to be featured on a worldwide distro compilation cd called "This Is Your Establishment" vol 1. The cd included top artists like Autopilot Off, Over It, Spitalfield, the Start, and Yellowcard. In 2003 PerK decided to take time off and take on other tasks in the music industry. Now, adding a 4th member to the line up the guys are in the works for tours and an EP. With the rising success from companys such as Establishment Clothing, Industry, Upbeetmusic.com and bands like Cruiserweight, the Panic Division, Girl In A Coma, the Applicators, Near Miss, Recover, Prevail Within, So Unloved, and of course who can forget the great Rap/Hip Hop scene taking the world by storm. Texas, is definitely making a mark on it's music scene and PerK is determined to help carry the torch. The EP that was set to release in the summer of 2007 has been put on hold till spring of 2008. The EP will be released on Indie label Stab Me Recordings. The record label has helped release other dubut acts such as The Finals (Immortal Records) and Girl In A Coma (BlackHeart Records) Until then be on the look out for PerK (210) all over Texas this year!
