C-HANDZ (born Darrin Mallory in Newark, NJ) has lived everything most rappers talk about but never actually experience: imprisonments, drugs, guns and shootings. He quickly amassed a lengthy "rap" sheet, which included federal indictments for trafficking of semi-automatic firearms (after a long undercover investigation by the FBI, ATF and state authorities). As a result, he ended up spending time in numerous maximum security federal prisons.
From a young age, C-HANDZ has developed a strong affinity for music in general and for hip-hop in particular. Pounding the underground mixtape circuit, selling thousands of units, and making notable appearances (including a Ruffnation/ Warner Bros. release) he has been making headlines and attracting music industry attention. Finally, after years of hard work and utmost dedication, C-HANDZ signed a management contract with The Gravity Music Group, a company co-founded by entertainment attorney Vlad Kushnir.
In 2006, C-HANDZ has released a 4-song EP "Da Dead, Da Dying, Da Wounded" which was produced by Faust (Cassidy; Yung Wun feat. DMX, David Banner and Lil Flip). The release has been generating radio plays, street buzz and strong reviews worldwide. His music career is looking promising. After all, HIP-HOP IS ONLY AS INTERESTING AND CONVINCING AS THE TELLER.
