O Wardeath existe desde 2002, com a motivação de fazer um Thrash Metal e levantar o espírito do Heavy Metal que está sendo perdido à medida que os anos passam. No início era apenas Diogo e Guilherme, que às vezes ensaiavam, tentavam chamar mais um membro, mas era e sempre foi difícil achar um integrante que ouve/curte realmente o estilo. Foi aí que no inicio do ano de 2004, Uriel DekSlayer entrou na banda como guitarrista, que acabou não dando muito certo. Inclusive, Diogo Possessed nessa época era apenas o vocalista, não existia um baixista. Foi quando no final de 2004 Zumbi entrou no Wardeath como baixista, Diogo Possessed como guitarrista e Uriel nos vocais. A banda seguiu o processo e acabou compondo musicas próprias. Houve um imprevisto na banda e Zumbi saiu, por vontade dos outros membros da banda. Uriel toma frente do baixo e o Wardeath estava formado. Com o tempo o Wardeath foi amadurecendo, compondo mais letras e riffs, aperfeiçoando a batera.
Após a gravação de Altar do Sacrifício (Demo-Ensaio), a Wardeath ainda está trabalhando em cima da divulgação da mesma. Em 2005, o Wardeath tocou em vários lugares fora do seu estado, inclusive com as bandas que sempre apreciou no cenário metálico nacional. No Slaughter Festival (RJ), Black Vomit (BH) e outros festivais, contamos com a presença de headbangers que passaram a apoiar mais ainda o nosso som. Entre março/abril de 2006, Uriel DekSlayer resolve deixar a banda por razões pessoais, o que ocasionou a entrada de um membro novo para a banda: Pedro Vultur, que tocava o baixo e o Diogo Possessed passaria para os vocais. Após alguns meses, o mesmo DekSlayer resolve voltar para a banda, formando assim um quarteto, em que Pedro Vultur passaria para guitarra e DekSlayer voltaria para o baixo e vocal, potencializando ainda mais a artilharia da banda. Agora o Wardeath tem dois vocalistas (Diogo e Uriel) e eles revesarão as músicas nas futuras gravações.
A meta agora é gravar nosso mais novo material, o álbum Confronto Bestial, ainda cantado em português (as novas músicas estão em inglês). Em breve estará disponível para todos os headbangers que apreciam nosso som e também para aqueles que ainda não conhecem a pancadaria que a Wardeath faz!

Wardeath exists since 2002, motivated to make thrash metal and to raise up the heavy metal spirit, that has been forgotten as time passes by. At the beginning, only Diogo and Guilherme were members of the band. The rehearsals started to take place and also the search for another member. However, it was too difficult to find someone that really appreciated the metal style till then. At the beggining of 2004, Uriel Dekslayer joined the band as guitarist what didnt work, since this is not the instrument that he really plays. At that time, Diogo was only the singer: there was no bassist in the band yet. Then, at the end of 2004 Zumbi joined the group as bassist, Diogo started to play the guitar and Uriel became the vocalist. The band, as consequence, started to compose its own songs. However, there was an unxpected situation, and Zumbi left the band, as concensus of the band. Uriel became the bassist, and now the line-up was made. As time passed by, the band grew musically, composing more lyrics and riffs, improving the drums and so on.
After the recording of Altar do Sacrificio (rehearsal tape), Wardeath started to work on its divulgation, what happens so far. In 2005, Wardeath played gigs in many places outside Espírito Santo (its original State), even with bands that it has always appreciated, from the Brazilian metal scene. At the Slaughter Festival (Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro), Black Vomit Festival (Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais), among others, the group was greeted by headbangers that started to support even more the band. Between March-April 2006, Uriel decided to leave the band, for personal reasons. It resulted in the admission of Pedro Vultur, that played the bass then, and Diogo Possessed assumed the vocals. After some months, Uriel rejoined the band, forming a quartet. So, Pedro Vultur started to play the other guitar, Uriel re-assumed the bass and the vocals, and the artillery of the band became even more potent. Now, Wardeath has two vocalists (Diogo and Uriel), and they will take turns on the vocals in future recordings. Now, the next step is to record the newest material, a debut-album called Confronto Bestial, that still presents lyrics in Portuguese (new songs will be writen in English). It will be available soon for all headbangers that appreciate the band and also for those who still dont know the Wardeath thrashing music!
