Death Metal Band DEADLY SPAWN
In 1997, DEADLY SPAWN were spawned on the gray hellish concrete somewhere in Tokyo, Japan, by three musicians who were influenced by early Death Metal: J. Ito (Guitars), K. Tsurudome (Vocals/Bass), T. Tomita (Drums). In 1998, they recorded the first demo “Demo 1998.” Soon the band’s reputation spread among the underground fans of Japan. After the release of “Demo 1998,”’ DEADLY SPAWN frequently started to appear in live concerts. They played with MARDUK in 1999, and as an opening act for DERANGED in 2002. In 2001, DEADLY SPAWN released the awaited 2nd demo “Dead Time Stories.” It was engineered by Seiji Kakuzaki from Influence Recordings, who is also well-known as the guitarist/vocalist of INTESTINE BAALISM. In 2003, the band’s original three members decided to have Y. Takeda (formerly of AZAGTHOTH) as a second guitarist to reinforce the band. Having a new member, they eagerly appeared on stage and played with NUNSLAUGHTER in 2005, and with STARGAZER and BODIES LAY BROKEN in 2006. In the autumn of 2006, they started to work on a new album that was completed in the summer of 2007. Now, with this mighty line-up, DEADLY SPAWN are ready to attack Death Metal fans all over the world with their thrashing, brutal, and morbid Death Metal.
