日本が世界に誇れる極めてホンモノThrash Metalバンドの待望の１stã‚¢ãƒ«ãƒãƒ ã€‚ã¯ã„ã€ä½•åº ¦ã§ã‚‚言います。ホンモノのThrash Metalです。2004年です。奇跡です。バンド名、 曲のタイトル、ジャケットも含めて極めて良 い意味で完全なる時代錯誤系Thrash。最近の機 械性能とか技術とかにだけ頼りきった重苦し いだけのヘンテコなサウンドとは違い、完全 に気合い勝負。音質なんて関係あるか！と言 いたげな臨場感たっぷりの音作り。そうそう これがThrash！デスラッシュなんかはThrashじゃ ないという答えがここにハッキリと見える。 荒々しくも細かいところまで計算されつくさ れているギターリフや暴れまくりながらもツ ボを押さえたギターソロは全盛期のThrash Metalの王道といった感じで限りなくパーフェ㠂¯ãƒˆã«è¿‘い。それにバキンバキン入るBass。ん ～この音です。ドラムは手数が多くテクニシ ャンである点は、当時のスラッシュにはあり 得ない構図であるが、色々とパターンを変え て攻め入る姿勢などセンスが良く、バンドの サウンドとしてハイレベルではまっている。 個人的嗜好として多少違和感があるのは、バ ックボーカル。アットホームBay Area系は当然のように入るが、こういったKille rなThrashには無い方が好み。とはいっても、だ“ã†ã„ã†ãƒãƒƒã‚­ãƒ³ã‚°ã¯ãƒ©ã‚¤ãƒ–ã§ã¯éžå¸¸ã«å¿ƒåœ°è‰ ¯ã„し、それを熟知しているかのような感じだ™ã‚‰ã‚る。さて、肝心のVocalであるが・・・こ れが極上この上ない美声！冒頭のシャウトだ けでもう完全に心を奪われるハズ。とにかく 切れ味鋭い高音吐き捨て型で、全盛期のMille㠁«ã‚‚勝る見事な切れ味。今や誰にも出来ない㠂ˆã†ãªå®Œç’§ã«é«˜éŸ³ã§ã€‚複数音に割れる声質で㠁®ã‚·ãƒ£ã‚¦ãƒˆã§Thrashのために生まれてきた天性㠁®ãƒ´ã‚©ãƒ¼ã‚«ãƒªã‚¹ãƒˆã¨è¨€ã£ã¦éŽè¨€ã§ã¯ãªã„。少㠁ªãã¨ã‚‚近年の再結成バンドやThrashを名乗っ㠁¦ã„る偽物連中と比べると比較にならないく㠂‰ã„真のThrash Metalである。なお、ライブでも勢い満点のThra shを堪能できるので、機会があれば是非とも㠃©ã‚¤ãƒ–にも足を運んでいただきたい最重要バ㠃³ãƒ‰ã®ä¸€ã¤ã¨è¨€ãˆã‚ˆã†ã€‚ã‚¢ãƒ«ãƒãƒ é€šã—ã¦æ¨ã¦æ ›²ãŒç„¡ã„とも言えないが、一気に何度でも聴㠁‘てしまうこの喉越しの良さは、近年稀に見㠂‹ç§€ä½œã€‚数あるThrash Metalの名作と堂々と肩を並べられる超力作と㠁„って過言ではない鼻血モノ。このバンドに㠁¯ã€RAZORã«é€šã˜ã‚‹é‡‘å¤ªéƒŽé£´æ„Ÿã‚’æ¬¡ä½œä»¥é™ã«ã‚‚æœ Ÿå¾…したくなってしまう。まあ、理屈抜きにTh rash Metalは世界で一番格好良いと根強く思ってい㠂‹äººã¯ã©ã†ãžã”堪能下さい。

-- Like the title of the album promises you will get here a lethal dose of aggressive, fast and total raging Thrash Metal, deeply rooted in the glorious 80s. Nothing more, nothing less. The CD starts with ’Torture Inception’ which is an intro / instrumental to invoke the coming devastation. And with ’Kill For Pleasure’ the Hell breaks loose and there will be no mercy till the album is finished. There’s no need to highlight one track as all are killers (no fillers). These kamikaze Thrashers play ultra tight and will for sure drive all Headbangers out there insane. The production of this album is a killer, very powerful and like a slap in your face. The guitars are very aggressive, totally shredding and will shave your heads. The rhythm section will give you the rest... total pounding and devastating. Singer Toshio reminds me sometimes a little bit on Gerre of Tankard (probably accidentally). Just the playing time is a little bit short but with such an entertaining release it doesn’t matter at all. The artwork rounds everything up. Clich・laden but we want it like that! To sum it up here: a real enjoying Thrash Metal album played with passion and the right spirit. So I can highly recommend it to all Thrashers out there and there will be one choice only: BUY OR DIE!

REAL thrash has returned baby! No, we aren’t talking about these new kids, these new band bands that continue to play recycled Slayer riffs. No more modern day Kreator or Destruction sounds here. No boys and girls, this is REAL thrash, brought to you at lightning speed, punishing, hellfueled, and straight up the tail pipe. While so many bands try to hop on the next big thing, underground sensations like Hatework and King’s Evil keep the metal flame burning, never compromising their roots or goals, simply carrying on the same chaos and mayhem as bands like Deceased, Metalucifer, and Tankard. From the land of the rising sun comes a new warrior, a brand new beast ready to unleash hell on the masses. Japan’s Fastkill bring the fast and furious with their debut album "Infernal Thrashing Holocaust", and with a title like that you know what to expect. Fans of the early works of Destruction, Sodom, Kreator, and Onslaught should look no further than this band. Building on speed, speed, and more speed, Fastkill embark on a mission to completely annihilate everything in their path, creating a full-length record of complete sonic devestation. At times the band play like madmen, simply going in and taking over with the most precise and tight riffs imaginable, all turned up and cranked up a million times faster than your modern Slayer or Exodus. The band borders on the macabre, with vocalist Singer Toshio completely out of control, hitting a strange register that combines screaming and singing together into one maniacal and sinister delivery. The riffs border on manical, just completely over the top with some of the fastest guitar playing I’ve heard in years. "Infernal Thrashing Holocaust" is probably one of the finest thrash albums to come out in the last ten years. No need to describe the tracks here, I wouldn’t be able to do them any justice whatsoever. I’ll just leave you with this thought: Fastkill are thrash saviors, really creating the kind of speed metal that hasn’t been played or heard in years. This band capture the sounds of 80s speed and brings it to life here in the 21st Century. If you are a fan of those types of extreme endeavors, then it is absolutely mandatory that you buy this record.
