I am a U2 freak. I don't know what happened, but I was driving with my cousin Vinnie from San Antonio to Austin one time, and he played the song "Bad" for me. From then on, it was all down hill. It went from being a fan, to a (some would say) unhealthy obsession.
I have traveled to see them in Dublin. Saw them twice on the Elevation tour. The opening night in Fort Lauderdale, and the closing night in Miami. 2 Great shows. On the Vertigo tour, I saw them in Dublin in June, 2005, and twice in Miami (3 feet in front of edge, my hero) and once in Tampa. I did in fact get to see them in Hawaii for the last show of the Vertigo Tour as well! I have a ton of U2 memorablia. Some say I have some pretty serious issues, and that I may need some counseling. I can't exactly explain it, but for some reason, the music speaks to me.

Rattle And Hum, and a bunch of other U2 concerts. Anything with Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrel, Owen or Luke Wilson, etc.

Television:

Depends on if U2 is playing at halftime.

Books:

Try to avoid them at all costs. BUT, I have "U2 by U2", "Walk On", "Conversations With Bono", "U2 Show", and a few others mostly U2 books....and the Bible, The Screwtape Letters or anything by C.S. Lewis. Take Me Out To The Ballpark, A History of Baseball Parks.

Heroes:

The Edge. And Bono for writing lyrics that speak how I feel sometimes. The entire band of U2 for giving me the opportunity to play the music I love. Jesus for saving the wretch that I am. And, anyone willing to donate dental work for me, WITH nitrous, I need a root canal, and soon.
