I'm the Co-Founder and Executive Director for The Life Group LA ( www.TheLifeGroupLA.org )and the CEO of Sunwolf Farms, an Equine Facilitated Mental Health Program.
With my work at TLGLA I'm passionate about providing educational workshops that will help empower HIV POZ and NEG individuals to make informed choices about their healthcare, life goals and general well being. I am equally passionate about helping people discover communiation skills, overcome emotional barriers and become empowered individuals through working with animals.

The Life Group L.A. presents its Award Winning, Third Annual "Saddle Up L.A." An AIDS Benefit Horseback Trail Ride and Country BBQ which will be held Saturday June 14th in the Beautiful and Majestic Griffith Park Mountains.
If you don't have your own horse, not a problem, 75 horses are being made available on a first come first reserved basis!
This year we are offering a registration discount when you register two people at one time, and a wonderful Country BBQ at the Pickwick Gardens!!
The purpose of the ride is to raise awareness of the fact that the AIDS Pandemic is not over and to raise much needed funds for the HIV services provided by The Life Group LA. It is also an affirmation of the power of compassion and a demonstration that ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary things.
We are grateful to our Media Partners, “here! TV”, “IN Los Angeles Magazine” and “The Equestrian News” for their endless support in helping us reach out to our mutual communities better!
Founded in 2005, The Life Group L.A. provides education, empowerment and emotional support to persons infected and affected by HIV/AIDS that they may make informed choices regarding their healthcare and general well being.
Using a variety of methodologies such as peer support groups, public medical forums and the POZ Life Weekend Seminar, The Life Group L.A. creates educational and empowering experiences in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.
Saddle up L.A. 2008 will be another trail ride to remember! It will honor not only those who have died of AIDS but will honor those of us who live on whether infected or affected by HIV.

The Life Group LA proudly announces its second annual year-end Holiday Donor Drive and Awards Ceremony: “Angels in L.A.,” honoring Gary Oliphant-Vice President of Wells Fargo Bank, David Giugni-City of West Hollywood and a host of other outstanding community members including: here! Network, Brian Risley, Shelley McKittrick, Joseph Leahy, Harlene Marshall, Tom Royer, Frank Morales and Reggie Ige. These dedicated individuals have contributed significantly to helping persons infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
“Angels in L.A.” will take place on Sunday, December 2nd, 2007 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m with Special Guest Host Miss Coco Peru, Award Presenter Mayor John Duran and Singing Performances by Erin Hamilton and Phillip Edwards. Comedian Sandra Valls will also be present to bring on the laughter !

The Purpose of “Angels in L.A.” is to raise awareness of the AIDS Pandemic to the highest level of consciousness, honor individuals who have contributed significantly to the work of The Life Group LA, enroll new supporters into our collective and raise much needed funds to support the important work we do.
We assert that we are ALL angels in some way and are called to do the greatest of good. As angels, some of us are guardians who bring comfort to those in emotional or physical pain and others who serve as messengers of hope. Others like the Archangel Michael remain poised for battle against suffering. All of us in Los Angeles, this City of Angels, together have the power to create a matrix of healing: One person, one angel at a time.
