About Me

A couple of days ago, a friend told me he pinned his hopes on me about being friends with someone intelligent and famous. So I guess that' s quite some responsibility. Others than that, I've been working on my University career these years to become a political scientist, focussing on the European Union, International Relations, and some Political Sociology. With most of my time being occupied with this goal, I try my best to spend the rest of it with my friends spread all over Germany and the globe (if it takes me some time to write you back, I didn't forget, I will do it asap), with the hopeless attempt to read all the great books out there, and with some movies I feel I have to watch (see the problem with books above). In the unlikely event of having some time left, I play bass in two bands. First, there's Chosen, my hardcore project that consists of me and four of my closest friends. We've been on hiatus for about two years now, all working on our academical careers. But once we're done, we'll kick Bad Religion's ass academic-wise. And second, there's my melodic/rock project Wester, with me and my friend Ille (who also happens to play in Chosen) being the band. Then, I run my own record label, Bloody Pirate Records, that you've probably never heard of and never will, but as a matter of fact, I'm preparing the next release that might come out next summer, and rumors are there could be a second one within the next 12 months. I've been involved in music journalism for years now and have done more interviews than I could think of. The coolest thing, though, is that thanks to this hobby of mine I've been able to meet some amazing people I consider my friends now. I am the author of some short stories and even shorter dark pieces that are unpublished to date, but might appear in this form or the other somewhere, one day. Oh, and I do sleep. Sometimes...
