You've landed on KFDP.com's home away from home on Myspace. Although I am a graphic artist and my husband is in banking by trade but music by spirit, I have grown to love the music that he listens to...

We have discovered that the music we love is apparently the kind that you rarely get to hear on the radio. In order to help promote many of these bands, we have built this page to give our favorite musicians just one more push into what is already a very alive grassroots campaign for every band in our favorites.

We have seen most of these bands live, at least in our top 20. And if not, we can vouch for their musical quality and word-of-mouth advertising. You'll catch us around town at places like Smith's Olde Bar, Club 29, Variety Playhouse... to name a few.

From time to time we luck out and get to provide a piece of art or two to fans of these groups, to help promote, give fans art to use for decals or stickers, all sorts of interesting ventures, all for the sake of doing our part to help promote great music. It's fun, inspirational, and a great creative outlet.

Check out each and every one of our top 20 or more "friends". You won't be disappointed. And catch a live show next time there's one near you. Live is always best!!!!

Recently saw Get Smart, very good!!

Television:

Yep, I'm a LOST freak, and ER, Heroes and Jericho and Friday Night Lights. Otherwise, I just catch things as I find them such as CSI Miami, one or two Law & Orders, and Numbers mostly stuff that comes on at 10:00.

Books:

Just finished T.D. Jakes "Reposition Yourself". Excellent book, no matter where you are in life. Recently read Re'enev . I highly recommend it! Read reviews at this link and also on Amazon and Barnes and Noble . You can buy it here or, even better, buy it directly from Mike and Bela's site. "Three Weeks With My Brother" by Nicholas Sparks. Great story. Makes me realize kids are a lot more resilient than I thought! "The Archivist". Some parts are a little too close to home in it. Great book. "Crisis" by Robin Cook. Medicine, science, mystery. Can't beat it. And... to try to get my creative juices going, I just finished reading 6 of the "Harry Potter" books. Yes, I know, they are supposed to be for kids. It has definitely worked. These are great books... you don't have to be a kid to love them. Just finished watching 5 of the movies too. Special effects are incredible. Kudos to everyone involved in writing and bringing the stories to life. You have wonderful imaginations!!!
