About Me

Jamie McLean is best know as the guitarist for the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. He has toured around the world a few times over with the godfathers of New Orleans brass bands laying the funk, blues, jazz, rock and soul. He has also collaborated with artists as varied as Norah Jones, Dave Matthews, Elvis Costello, Diana Krall, Widespread Panic, Dr. John, Robert Randolph, North Mississippi Allstars, Soulive and many more.The Jamie McLean Band is now the focus of Jamie's musical journey. The band features Jamie's electrifying guitar work as well as his soulful vocals and his unique songwriting. The group has been compared to The Black Crowes, Rolling Stones, Ryan Adams, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, John Mayer, The Allman Brothers and others.
