Maturing as an artist Pamela started playing with the Middleclass Pushovers and got a taste for the whole band thing. She considers them all to be "very talented musicians who are great to play with!" They released a self titled debut cd in 2003. During this same time, Pamela started playing with the Museum Pieces utilizing her skills with backup vocals, guitar and bass guitar. This led to the release of Philidelphia, a second album for Tyler Messick but the first album for the Museum Pieces. Now Pamela is breaking new ground, creating her debut full length album PAMELA & THE UNDER WATER featuring collaborations with various local musicians. Pamela feels she has "been blessed with having so many wonderful and talented friends around", and looks forward to what the future may bring. she is about to start recording her second album which is a more focus collection of pop dance folk rock tunes. look for her, shes lurking just beneath the surface. 1st album available at sam the record man and cd plus barrington st. halifax n.s. Sounds Like: When pushed to define her musical stylings, Pamela describes her sound as Organic folk. "It's a little bit folk, with dark undertones, layers and harmonies, as well as a bit of classic rock thrown into the mix with some more experimental stuff involving lighters, matches, growling, feet on carpet, etc. It sounds kind of dark but not in the negative sense."
