“Dutch New York, my name ringin’ in your brain” The ringing tone is amplifying. This Bronx bred Harlemite has been performing since the age of 13. Shown the ropes by the older greats, what in part started as a way of staying out of the streets has now turned into a nonstop daily grind. Over the years and through the good, the bad and the ugly, Dutch New York’s style has matured and become versatile. At times taking a cocky or abrasive stance, it’s just not fair to try to define Dutch’s style .At 22, performing live, Dutch New York already has torn down venues including the Sovereign Bank Arena, Club Speed, Club Demarara and Greekfest. In the studio, in addition to his duties on the mic, Dutch also makes beats and engineers part-time. Dutch’s main aim now is to build his independent label, 100 Gang Entertaiment, and shop it around. In addition to his solo work, there is also Team 100 Gang, which is made up of Pistol the 1, Budah Ruger, Blue Blond,Reddy Feddy and Heights own Cise . You’ll be hearing more about them - trust me.Having already collaborated with Ave, D-Block’s J-Hood and former Sporty Thievz member Big Dubez, Dutch New York’s “Grind 101” has been on the streets and his “Grind 102" mixtape just recently dropped - check for these. Future plans are for a mixtape series - “Blood on the Big Apple ”.
