I am here for Friends

About Me

My name is John David Dolinar and I was born on November 4th, 1980 to Anton and Mary Dolinar in Kitchener, Ontario Canada. I had a real good upbringing with two siblings, an older brother Tom, and an older sister Dorothy. I have played soccer competitively since I was 4 years old and continue to play to this day. Soccer was my first passion until my late teens when music took over! I picked up my first bass guitar when I was 14. Played it for about 6 months and never played again till I was 21. When I was 21 I met some friends who were musically inclined and started a band with them called "Shaker". We did very well over the years gaining recogntion and respect from some of musics toughest critics. I got to travel a lot, open up for Canada's top bands on numerous occasion's, and meet tons of people. An experience people only dream of!Thankfully my love for music and my drive to succeed hasn't failed over the years. I have continued on in the quest of music excellence and to fulfill my own dreams and aspirations. I am currently playing bass guitar in The Dunes. A melodic four piece rock outfit looking to take over the music world and prove anyone wrong in our path! We are currently finishing The Dunes second album and will be touring extensively in 2008. A live show you must see!!! Lets just say im living my dreams these days and loving every minute of it! May the Rock Gods be with me, till death do us part.......the dunes
