About Me

I find adventure in the ordinary and just beyond it. I'm just as much at home at a wild party as I am wandering through a forest miles from civilization, crawling through the ruins of an abandoned building, or sitting in a smoky jazz bar. I'm very logical most of the time. I don't see a point in taking life too seriously because no matter what you do, we all end up dead, so you may as well enjoy things while they last. I don't sleep much (suprise!). I have trouble finding people that can keep up with my energy level sometimes. My moods/emotions are very very stable and generally positive. I like cats, although I'm allergic to them. I like to create things. I don't like ignorance or hate. I'm almost never late for anything. I think many people don't take enough risks, they tiptoe through life, just to safely arrive at death. Personally, I'd rather regret the things I have done than those I haven't. I'm a pretty easygoing and stress free person. I can find beauty in almost anything, and I take pleasure in many things that I think most people overlook. I don't believe in any organized religion but I do think that we are all connected and there is some sort of underlying force/order to the universe.
Some of the things I fear the most: ending up in a 9-5 desk job (sorry, but humans are NOT meant to spend 8 hours a day behind a desk), George W. Bush, stinging insects that fly, getting old and becoming weak and incapable of taking care of myself, the power of stupidity in large concentrations, and Oompa Loompas.
Some things I want to do before I die: travel the world (top of the list is Moscow, Cambodia, Japan, and Australia), learn to skydive and eventually base jump, record a full album, travel to space, make a film, invent something, and write a book.
Photography is currently my main passion/interest and I'm *always* looking for new places and people to take pictures of. I'm fascinated by the ability to shape what others see and re-create a vision I have in my head through pictures.

I think those are the basics, if you want to know more, drop me a line. I don't bite, unless you're into that sort of thing...
