About Me

Hailing from South Korea, Hee-Young Kang is a delectable singer-songwriter who wants nothing more than to generate a divine connection through her music. Hee-Young has been singing melodies and writing poetry for many moons now and it certainly doesn’t hurt that both her parents are musically inclined as well. From the tender age of sixteen she has been fiercely yet delicately writing lyrics. Additionally, she has sung background vocals for various singers in Korea, including several gigs at the indie café Ladybird, located in the heart of Seoul. Presently she resides in New York and is fervently studying Studio Composition at SUNY Purchase with well-known musicians including Grammy Award recipient Joel Thome. Her music can be listened to at the following: www.myspace.com/listen2christine. -bio by Yael Silberberg-
