I am Japanese Deaf. I am open mind and love to meet new people. I LOVE to chat in ASL(American sign language). I know Japanese sign and American sign both. Now I want to learn Korean and Korean sign language. And I want to be bridge between different countries.
My husband is Japanese, too. He is working as SUSHI chef in top Japanese restaurant in Greensboro NC. Also, we own a cozy coffee shop and teach how to cook Japanese food once a month in my coffee shop. It is a lot of fun to share our knowledge and culture to other people.
I was born deaf in Kyoto, Japan. I had been struggling being deaf because I was grown in hearing world. My mother didn't allow me to learn sign language until I was 16. Now I accept myself as deaf and having fun to learn different sign language. I think communication is the most important thing for LIFE. USA environment for deaf is a lot better in Japan. There is still No VP, No relay service, No ADA law and deaf can't get driver license. Hope thing is getting better in the near future.
My husband is hearing japanese and have 2 children. My husband opened small coffee shop in NC, and we work there everyday, serving YUMMY coffee and smoothies. My husband traveled with BICYCLE and camp tent from CA to GA 12 years ago.
Now I am teaching ASL(american sign language) to hearing people at coffee shop after setting up ASL CHAT CLUB . Also, We teach how to cook different Japanese food. We taught how to cook TERIYAKI CHICKEN, grilled beef and sushi before. Here is Japanese club
