I hope this band challenges the Southern California myth. It was the small bands who were on the frontline playing to people like me, the soldier dressed for battle. The small band releasing the one classic single then splitting and changing and laying it out for other bands. In the time of The Stooges, MC5 or the Sonics it was about starting up and playing out with no musical or vocal instruction. Creating the DIY movement and evolving their own individual scenes with their own sound. It was about taking no prisoners, it was about ripping the lid off.
