Berlin, Germany's capital. The town of junk food, boring politicians, rich cunts, nasty dogshit but also probably the European Punkrock Capital! Berlin has got more to offer than old German history - Berlin's got the TOWER BLOCKS for example! Founded in the year 2000 it aint definitely no bullshit to talk of them as one of the most ass-kicking discoveries in the Punkrock bizz of the new century!
They combine an aggressive, raw, guitar based sound with sarcastic, vicious lyrics including lots and lots of humour! Lyrics about what happens in everyday life of a Punkrocker or Skinhead! Lyrics about love, football, a bad childhood, alcohol and an ugly girl called Betty!
These guys are the ones to keep the spirit of bands like Oxymoron, The Business, 4 Skins, Peter & The Test Tube Babies and many others alive! But they are much more than just a cheap imitation of another re-union combo! If you think this it's up to you to prove it and after listening to their sound to say "sorry" to them, haha!
After hundreds of gigs over Germany and some European countries (for example Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Netherlands, England) the TOWER BLOCKS gang is now ready to conquer the whole world with their catchy tunes that pack a punch made in Germany!

Berlin, die Hauptstadt Deutschlands...Stadt der Dönerbuden, langweiliger Politiker, Yuppie-Bonzen, der ekelhaften Hundescheiße, aber eben auch Schmelztiegel der europäischen Punkrockszene! Berlin hat viel mehr zu bieten als eine bewegte Vergangenheit - die TOWER BLOCKS zum Beispiel! Gegründet zu Beginn des neuen Jahrtausends, kann man von ihnen mit Sicherheit als einer DER Entdeckungen hinsichtlich der Punkrock-Szene sprechen.
Sie vereinen einen aggressiven, rauen, auf den Gitarren basierenden Sound mit sarkastischen, bösartigen Texten. Dabei kommt der Humor, das Augenzwinkern, nie zu kurz - das Dreschen von Klischees wird gemeinhin vermieden. Themen sind u.a. das Alltagsleben eines Punkrockers oder Skinheads in all seinen Nuancen: Es geht um Liebe, Fussball, Kindheit...aber auch von Alkohol und Betty wird gesungen!
Diese Jungs halten den Geist solcher Bands wie Oxymoron, The Business, 4 Skins, Peter & The Test Tube Babies wach ohne aber eine billige Imitation derselben abzugeben! Solltest du dieser Meinung sein: Führe dir einen ihrer 3 Longplayer zu Gemüte und entschuldige dich dann bei ihnen,hehe!;-)
