About Me

I'm a photographer and a freelance photo assistant, but, I am considering going back to driving an icecream truck as a full time career move if the photography doesn't work out...
I've tried to fly and have broken many bones.
I once sent Christian Slater fan mail.
embracing my love/hate relationship with nyc and shooting pics as much as possible! arty stuff on 35mm film, fashion, bands, portraits, kitchy narratives...

My Interests

Photograhy, drawing with tape, making clothing modifications, art that doesn't suck, music and going to shows, being by the water in a city or playing outside, travelling to said locations, making things happen. being active girl-bikram yoga, swimming, sometimes the meathead gym if it's shitty out...biking everywhere-though I wipe out a lot lately..

I'd like to meet:

bands and interesting characters to photograph for serious, I will shoot your band and do a really nice job of it...assuming I dig your jam...

hair, stylist and makeup types that want to make stuff in the way of photography.

people who want to participate in craft nite

and these women

Movies:

anything by Christopher Guest, especially waiting for Guffman. Thirteen conversations about one thing, Magnolia, the Hours, Donnie Darko, Mean Girls, Kamikaze Girls

...also Pump Up the Volume or anything with Seth Green-yeah I know that's kinda weird too...STFU

Television:

Buffy, Quantum Leap, Meet the Press, iron chef, the weather channel, BCAT especially when they are showing music videos, the fat people reality show is pretty captivating too I think it would be ideal if they ran that back to back with top model.

Catch 22, Class by Paul Fussell is genius...An Unquiet Mind-this memoir by this lady Kay Jamison about her Bipolar disorder, Cruddy by Lynda Barry, Rum Diary...also like Calvino, Dave Eggers and David Sedaris, but the Vanity Fairs and New York magazines my roomate brings home from Conde Nasty have been getting the crux of my reading attention these days...
