Born and bred in Brooklyn, NY. Started playing bass guitar in bands at 16 years old. Began Life of Agony in 1989 with singer Keith Caputo, guitarist Joey Z and drummer Sal Abruscato. Recorded our first album River Runs Red for Roadrunner Records in 1993. Toured for a few years with bands like Type O Negative, Carcass, Pro-Pain and played giant festivals with Danzig, Prong and Slayer before recording Ugly in 1995. Toured with all sorts of bands for 2 years and then recorded Soul Searching Sun in 1997. The band lost our original singer Keith Caputo and continued to tour with a replacement singer for a year. Tours included Ozzfest, Megadeth, Anthrax, Deftones and headlining tours.In 1999, I began playing with a new band called Among Thieves with friends Danny Schuler (Biohazard), Scott Roberts (Cro-Mags) and Singer Rob Brock shortly after LOA broke up. We released 2 records through Daymare Recordings/Warner Japan. In 2003, Life of Agony reunited for 2 sold out shows at NYC's irving Plaza that were recorded for a live album/DVD entitled "River Runs Again: Live 2003" (SPV Records).Life of Agony signed to Epic Records and released Broken Valley in 2005. The band toured the United States with Mudvayne earlier in the year and most recently with MEGADETH,DREAM THEATER and ANTHRAX on GIGANTOUR.
