Night Things is a true indie horror flick. Shot on real film on a 25 year old camera in a creepy cabin in the mountains, funded with credit cards, and absolutely without Hollywood.
The story follows Alex, a young woman summoned to her grandfather's mountain cabin. He's finally repaired something he found in the jungle twenty years ago. A machine millions of years old, and not of this Earth. A machine that demands a terrible price for it's power.
Now she's trapped between worlds. Sealed in by a barrier within which anything that dies only comes back to life again. It's forced immortality, unless you make the mistake of going into the dark.
Because whatever the world is that she's been brought halfway into, the locals want her. The Lures during the day, learning how to act human so they can drag her into the forest and hold her for the Night Things. And when The Night Things get you, you don't come back.
So she spends her days siphoning gas from the cars of travelers unlucky enough to wander into the barrier. Trying to keep the cabin's generator going long enough to survive another night. Untill a young physics student named Haley wanders into the barrier and says she can fix the machine and get them back. But can they do it in time, and will they be willing to pay the price?
