Slidecamp is Justin Boreta and Ryan Gilbert, two friends who met while exploring abandoned warehouses and industrial wastelands along the Northern California coast. Finding kinship in the research of sonic horizons, they learned how to construct songs that are influenced as much by the expansive tidepools of the West Coast as they are the graffiti wars of San Francisco. Slidecamp is named after a grove they discovered while exploring the rainforest valleys beneath Mt. Olympus.
