CURRENT MOON lunar phases
Getting high...
...Whilst continuously listening to music.
Or playing guitar or drums. Bit of a collector of guitars.Guitars: Gibson Smartwood, Gibson Joe Perry Custom Shop, 1958 Epiphone Wilshire made by Gibson (previous owner - Gary Lee Conner of Screaming Trees), Fender Jagstang (red), Fender Semi-Acoustic (can't remember the model), a crappy old Spanish guitar and an Aria Jumbo-Acoustic from the late 60s early 70s.Amplifiers: Fender 2x12 Blues Deville amp (an amp Keith Richards is fond of) and a couple of crappy little Yamahas.Pedals/Units: Fuzz pedal made from decommissioned Russian military parts, and an MX80 Phaser.
The Living: Alexander Schulgin, David Bowie, and Elvis... The Dead: John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Keith Moon, Nick Drake, Johnny Thunders, Terence McKenna and Francis Crick.
This is my ever-changing jukebox, well, I change it every month or so. Sometimes it's themed, sometimes not. Sometimes it's playing vintage folk, maybe 60's psychedelia, maybe 70's space/prog rock. Sometimes it's playing vintage 70's/80's electro, maybe 90's rave and club mixes. It is ever-changing and I can change it at a whim to whatever takes my fancy - though I DO take requests! Please enjoy, as I know some of you, well, a few of you... Ok, TWO of you... do!
----------------------------------------Well, these four little ditties here are mine. Improvised and recorded straight to tape when I was beginning to learn how to play a guitar and my friend was beginning to learn drums. I/We recorded at least ten individual jams and totted up at least two and a half hours of bizarre-random-jazzy-acoustic-stoner-rock musical meanderings. The four tracks I have put here are the ones I'm least embarrassed about!
