hipbootjoe has just released their second, all-original CD, Louisiana State Line (Spring 2007). These songs were written by members of the band and successfully published writers, John Mallory and Scott Innis. With production by multi-Grammy winner, Tony Daigle, and the south’s finest guest musicians, such as, Hunter Hayes, Tereva Henderson, Kevin Civello and Grammy-nominated Sonny Landreth, you're assured a spicy taste of Louisiana. After selling thousands of their first self-titled CD, Louisiana State Line is surely on it's way to bigger and better things for the band.In 2005, hipbootjoe released a gospel album on Blackberry Records which features the original, "Get Saved", recorded with the Grammy-nominated Williams Brothers. "Get Saved" garnered national airplay on radio and television, including BET, and was nominated for both the GMA's Contemporary Gospel Song of the Year and Contemporary Gospel Album of the Year in 2005. The band was included on 3 live CD and DVD performances filmed at the Earthlink Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. The CD's and DVD's entitled "SoulLink Live", "SoulLink Live 2" and "SoulLink Live 3" feature the band along with some of the most legendary gospel artists in the business.
