The band is dedicated to music and to sharing their love of music with their audience with a New Orleans flair. Members of the band have backed up and or opened for numerous musical acts, from international favorites including Paul McCartney, the Righteous Brothers, and KC and the Sunshine band, to local New Orleans favorites Irma Thomas, Pete Fountain, Eddie Bo, and Oliver Morgan. These individuals have performed at countless functions from weddings to Mardi Gras Krewes (Bacchus, Endymion, Caesar, and Orpheus, to name a few), cruises (Commodore and Holland), casinos (including Boomtown, Treasure Chest, L'Auberge du Lac, and Bally's), Corporate functions, and fairs. Most recently, Fleur de Lis played for Arena Bowl XXI at the New Orleans arena, Boomtown Casino, the Isle of Capri Casino and the Krewe of Thoth.Fleur de Lis includes one female vocalist and four male vocalists, who have the range to do many different musical genres (R&B, Funk, Disco, Rock, Country, Dixieland, Jazz, Oldies, Standards, and Pop, to name a few). The the rhythm section is incredibly tight and funky and the horn section is one of the best in the city.
