electric limosine spawned from the creative loins of the dandy vandal and johnny hotrod. while dropping out of bachelor-of-creative-dole-bludging at the western australian academy of performing arts, hotty and dandy began writing and performing sleazy electro breaks.in 2004, at the tail end of a desperate pub trawl, the boys propositioned down-and-out cabaret harlot coco pop. barely of consenting age and keen to endure the required humiliation to reach the realm of stardom, coco found herself in good company amongst these daring electro desperados.in 2004, the trio made their live debut at jig saw in 2005, their track blissful intervention was released on the deuce presents jigsaw compilation cd, alongside an impressive collection of tracks from some of perths most prominent bands and producers.in early 2005, dandy, hotrod and coco were joined by jimmy swift - guitarist, pervert, psychology lab-rat and all-round nice guy - and electric limosine now had a getaway driver. as a four-piece, electric limosine felt they had the right balance of legitimate organ donors and boy-to-girl ratio to sustain the rock star lifestyle.since then, electric limosine has been escorted from the premises of many well-respected music venues around perth. however, perhaps the most notorious performances for the band have been those instigated by their local posse, bourgeois bogan, who have created quite a stir in the perth arts scene, bringing a much needed sense of irresponsibility to the local electronic music scene.electric limosines sound a fresh and contagious mix of electro beats, retro synth sounds, flamboyant guitar and twisted, addictive vocal lines- has won them scores of fans both locally and internationally. their broad appeal has enabled them to incite riots and inspire angry mob behaviour at various community and religious gatherings.
