Located upstairs @ Shape on Saturday nights, Habitat is Perth's premier night dedicated to playing upfront electronic music with an emphasis on the many sub-genres of house & techno.Habitat's philosophy; to provide a place for like-minded people to share their passion for music, and be inspired by some of the world's finest electronic artists.Over the past 4 years, Habitat have worked hard to bring to Perth some of the dance music’s hottest artists, having toured Trentemoller, Oliver Huntemann, Stephan Bodzin, Leutzenkirchen, King Roc, Tiga, James Talk, Ewan Pearson, Audiojack, Yousef, Mr C, Martinez, MANDY, Jona, SWAG, Deepchild, Phil K, Sean Quinn, MDX, Freeform Five, Rollin Connection, Spektre & Tigerskin to name a few. We were also runner-up for Most Outstanding Contribution and nominated for Best Club Night at the 2008 Perth Dance Music Awards.Our new venue Shape has 2 rooms and 2 courtyards, so you can move between rooms as you wish, with the infamous Tick Tock crew downstairs playing a mix of electro, baltimore, disco, electroclash & indiepop.
