About Me

Comedian Cory Fernandez performing @ Comic Strip Live in NYC.
&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp In 2004 Cory Fernandez made his debut television appearance as a finalist on the second season of BET's Coming to the Stage with comedians Bruce Bruce and Kim Coles. Three years later Cory became the first Puerto Rican on Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam. He has since made his first transition to the big screen in the film Don’t Let Me Drown starring Ricardo Chivera of Desperate Housewives and Gina Torres from the film I Think I Love My Wife starring Chris Rock.
&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp After performing on the nationwide Coming to the Stage Tour, he opened up for the Teens of Comedy Tour. The Teens Tour featured young comedians such as Lil JJ from the show Just Jordan on Nickelodeon and Brandon T. Jackson from the upcoming film Tropic Thunder starring Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr. In 2006 Cory performed on Bill Bellamy's Who's Got Jokes on TV One and Jamie Foxx Presents Laffapalooza on Comedy Central.
