Well, I'm 42 years young and live just outside London, in Essex with my fantastic partner, Del, who works in IT. I also have a 20 year old daughter, Charlie, who is in her second year of a Film Studies Degree ( or wasting the next few years downing pints of cheap lager 'n' blackcurrant, and bumming about in the SU bar!). I used to be a secondary school teacher (teaching English & Drama to 11-18 year olds) but then I had a life changing experience at 38 (I got divorced after 13 years of marriage - and nearly died through a head injury sustained in an accident - so there is a God up there of some kind after all!) I quit teaching after this to concentrate on all the things I had ever wanted to do in life, as I realized Life is too short not to follow your dreams. I had a successful career as a freelance model. I have also been a singer and backing vocalist in quite a few bands over the last 20 years, and still hum the odd ditty for my musician friends, when asked!
Being a typical Taurean, I always need a new challenges to rise to, so in 2006 I decided that I'd been infront of the camera enough to satisfy the exhibitionist element of my personality, and I needed to kick start my sadly neglected and shriveled up brain again. I wanted to carry on working for myself so I retired from modeling to concentrate on a website I had set up to promote new bands, alternative models, and other creative people - since then it has really taken off - and my georgeous partner Del, provides all the IT backup!
I have also managed to combine my lifelong passion for photography and music - I really enjoy doing live videography and photographic still for bands, as well as doing all the post production editing alongside my partner , who luckily is also quite handy with a camera and photoshop!I now work from home full-time as a freelance PR and Publicity Agent ( see my Re:Public Image MySpace Page in my top friends list)I work for small record labels, and a variety of bands and recording artists, doing press and publicty work for their tour and album releases. PHEW - BUSY LADY HUH?
I combine all of the things I love, and can work from home at my own pace, with my friends and family helping out occassionally - and its fantastic! I'm certainly happier and much more contented now than I have ever been - and that what counts!
I also do freelance music journalism too - Gig reviews, CD reviews and articles concerning the music industry or media. I just love writing really - especially comedy! One day I would love to put all my ideas together and write a stand-up show or a sketch show! I often scribble a lot of meaningless silly things down on paper, or random conversations I've overheard, which seem funny to me at the time! I have a strange sense of humour - it can be very black and sarcastic sometimes, occassionally witty, or just plain daft most of the time! I've just started publishing some of my musings on my own website, for future posterity, and who knows, one day I might just finish writing that novel that I started.........

I now spend my days (& nights) working on my PR campaigns, or on my various internet sites and I'm also still learning all manner of new things to do with scary technology! (6 years ago I would have had a nervous breakdown if confronted by a dreaded computer)

In the last few years, I have been on a great journey of personal discovery! Nowadays, I love spending quality time with my fantastic friends and wonderful family - and I'm totally mad about motorbikes, especially custom ones! I love going to gigs, festival and bike rallys! I love watching comedy and enjoy a good night out on the town too! But I also like snuggling up on the sofa with my partner, watching movies, and stuffing my face with wine, munchies and chocolate! My mates say I'm a closet bloke trapped in a female body, because I tend to hate girly stuff like collecting shoes, or interior design programes and prefer blokey stuff any day of the week - give me useless gadgets, motorbikes, computer games, nerdy geeky stuff like sci-fi and I'm happy!

I also have 2 great sons called Joe and Jay, who are 16 and 12. Joe is now back living with me and del but my youngest son Jay, still lives up in Liverpool with my ex-husband. I miss him like mad but I try to talk to him everday! I am very proud of my daughter, she has always been like a rock to me in times of trouble, and she has surpassed all my expectations! We share a love of rock music ( she was the one got me into PORCUPINE TREE) and we both like similar films, but I'm a bit miffed she got a tattoo before me! I'm hoping she will become a great film director one day, and take care of me in my old age instead of putting me in a home for old folks! ( don't even think about it - spawn of my loins!) Joe is also doing well in college and I'm very proud of the way he has turned out despite some of the difficult times we have been trhrough as a family.
