All kinds of music, Ottawa Senators hockey... and hockey in general, my edge, animal friendly appetites, Buffalo Bills football- even though they always let me down, my cat, Toby (and probably yours too), Kansas Jayhawk basketball, airports, daydreaming, obscure references to historical figures and blips on the pop culture radar that nobody remembers but me, late 80s/early 90s sitcoms and sketch comedy shows, finding true love, dedication, real friends, late nights, large coffees- black, with no gimmicks, road trips, Rideau Canal, trying to learn how to speak Polish, walking all over the place, politics, unions, working out, pretending I can play soccer, Jim Rome's jungle, maps and globes, Sweden, hometown pride, the cactus, cuddles, love and understanding, never settling... never giving up hope, never being ashamed of wearing my heart on my sleeve.
Anyone who wants to have a good conversation... I'm way into that. Also, anyone Polish who can help me get a grasp of your beautiful, yet absolutely mindwarping language. Anyone who wants to learn English... I can teach you.I dig girls, but I'm way gay for two dudes right now (non-sexually of course):Marcin Rozynek:Sugar Ray Emery:

In Poland, I watch a lot of Russia Today (English language news channel from Moscow), football as much as I can, often on Real Madrid TV- even though I don't really like that team all that much, Polish music stations, Jay and Conan on CNBC, and when I feel brave, I'll try to sit down and watch a Polish comedy or soap opera.
I read a lot of books about learning Polish... but also lots of books with lessons for my students. I read Polish kid's books, and tourist information guides.
My students. Seriously... so absolutely put together in so many ways... I'm in awe of (most of) them all the time.
