I am the writer & director of Chainsaw Sally. I also run and own Forbidden Pictures (formerly Planet X Entertainment) with my wife, April Monique Burril who plays Sally on the web and in the movies.
My new movie, The Good Sisters starring Debbie Rochon and April Burril, just wrapped this past May and is now in post production. It's very different from Sally, but I hope the same folks who loved Sally, are up for a totally different adventure.
Our next film will either by Bad Kitty or The Darl'n Clementines. Once again, the only theme to my films seem to be powerful women. Perhaps I have a fetish I'm working out.... never sure. What comes out is what comes out. There is also a script and cast for Chainsaw Sally 2: Bloodkin which we are seeking funding for at this time. Our issue there is that we want to go up to a much larger budget. So, when we get what we need, we will make the film. I've been a fan of Horror, Camp, and B-movies for as long as I can remember, but my life took a turn greatly when I stayed up too late one Friday night when I was in 6th grade and watched Alice Cooper's Welcome to My Nightmare on The Midnight Special. That bridged my two favorite things, horror and music.
I got into music at a very early age. For my second birthday I got a gift that would stay with me for the rest of my life, my first set of drums. Later I played in bands and at the age of 13 started playing out as a rock drummer... and I loved it. I never felt anything as euphoric as being on stage. That feeling would later take me to acting, which I did on stage for many years. That soon turned into writing for stage, and directing. I wound up actually writing four musicals that were produced on a small level with my partner James M. Taylor.
The love of acting, writing and directing took me to the path I am now on, which is movies. This is the best time I've had. I really have a wonderful life... great family, great friends, and I make a good living as an artist, and part time indi filmmaker. I just could not ask for more.
