Turn to your neighbor and tell 'em " I like what have on, Because you're wearing the GARMENT OF PRAISE!"At this time, it's becoming crystal clear to me that I am interested in lives being changed for the better. Jesus once said that he came that men might have more abundant life. I want to be involved in that process. I'm concerned with the welfare of God's people our every race, color, age and creed. I believe that the most important facet is a close walk with Christ.
I'd like to meet most of the people I've met along this long journey called a career. There were many people that were wonderful to me in various ways and I'd like to just see how they are living these days, and most of all to give thanks.I'd also like to meet new people with fresh ideas. It's many of the new heads that make the cool changes in this scene, and I like to stay close to the cutting edge. It's always inspiring to witness someone putting a new wrinkle in some old fabric and therefore bringing it back to life. If you are about that kind of thing, I want to meet you!
I found some more of my music @ www.douglastruthsmith.com This is some different stuff. It's like Americana/Roots. I worked with some pretty cool muscians, on music by some great writers. I don't know, check it out.

Right now I'm reading the latest bio of Alexander Hamilton. I also read "His Excellency George Washington", the bio of Fredrick Douglass and "The rise and Fall of Elijah Muhammed".I am interested in biographies of great men. For some reason I currently intrigued by early American history. Have you read "Freakonomics"? It's a good read.
Jesus is first. He's author and completion of my faith. He was perfect in this world. That speaks volumes to me. My father, the late Rev.Dorsette L.Smith. A true man of faith. My grand dad, Rev. David Hird, the sweetest personality that I have ever encountered. Jerry Griffin, my father that wasn't my father. My mother who always loves me no matter what. Also, anybody that does something good for someone else without looking for something in return.
