Jessica Halem

Has it really been 11 years??

About Me

Jessica Halem is no ordinary genius from a small town in Ohio. She is also a radical feminist queer Jew with a unique brand of "on-your-face" stand-up that makes audiences blush. Jessica has been performing for over 10 years and is often compared to such beloveds as her late grandmother and acidophollus. Performing for seven years with her all-lesbian stand up comedy group The Hysterical Women, she travelled from P-town to San Francisco and most recently she finished a tour of Northeast colleges with the radical queer performance troupe: esoterica. In Chicago, she can be seen emceeing the sold out Gurlesque Burlesque shows or raising money for democrats.
