One of my top goals is to make a film that's seen by a lot of people that moves them and makes them feel so inspired that they want to go out and make their own film.
Anyone that will watch one of my films and say "You know what this town needs, Johnny? (I'm assuming he has a friend named Johnny by the way) This town (Hollywood) needs this kid (I'm 29, but if they were in their 40s they'd consider me a kid). Let's immediately get this guy a five picture deal working for us, Whaddaya say?!"I'd also like to meet anyone who's a fan of my work, as well as plain ole nice everyday people.
I'm mostly into techno, 80's music, movie scores, and movie soundtracks, but I like anything that has a distinct sound.
I love any film that has interesting characters and a good story. The key to any good film is always the story. How much it cost, who's in it, what studio produced it--none of that really matters if that one thing is lacking. Some films I like are "Serenity", "Memento",
"Batman Begins", The "Back to the Future" Trilogy, "Runaway Jury", "The Incredibles", The "Spider-Man" films, "Bird on a Wire", "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure", "Hotel Rwanda", "Toys", "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", and "Galaxy Quest." I like all styles, doesn't matter if it's action, comedy, science fiction, drama, or even romance, as long as it's not cliche.
Right now I'm into "Heroes", "Life", "Bionic Woman", "Burn Notice", "The Big Bang Theory", "How I Met Your Mother", "Pushing Daisies", "Rob & Big", and "Rad Girls" on the Fuse Network.
When I do read a book, it's not something fictional, nor is it someone's autobiography. It's usually a film book or a book explaining how to use a computer program so that I can better work on my films.
