Dead Petalâ„¢

The flower that smiles today, Tomorrow dies; All that we wish to stay, Tempts and then flies.

About Me

Recluse in training. While craving deep connections, I'll often feel it's simply not worth the time or effort - as most social relations drain me, and in the end I will feel disconnected. In the event I do feel comfortable, I enjoy intellectual and intimate conversation, clever silliness and will most likely share anything. I'm quiet around those I do not know, and very open and giving to those I do. I love to laugh and be silly but not everyone sees that side of me. I often care too much, think too hard (but not about anything worthwhile!) and feel too deeply.

My Interests

Drawn to the macabre, dark and unusual. Enjoy researching interesting and odd subject matter. Lover of art, poetry, photography, music, nature, animals, history, behavior, learning.

I'd like to meet:

Fellow obsessive, hyper-sensitive agoraphobes. Those who feel compelled to question and who share my rather feverish curiosity. Unpretentious deep thinkers. Those overwhelmed by the world; the possibilities and the horror. Introverts who want to risk embarrassment with me. Extroverts who want to push me out of my safe zone. I take a great liking to those who are considerate, courteous and compassionate. As other cultures and lifestyles interest me immensely, it’d be neat to befriend some like-minded individuals abroad.
