THE BROTHERS GIN

Founded in December 2004 in the remote seaside town of Aberystwyth, The Brothers Gin quickly expanded over the following months. After a short time on the acoustic circuit, founding members vocalist Rajinder Kumar, guitarist Joe Myles (formerly of the sinister hard rock outfit Brainslug), and harmonica player Takuo Kimoto were soon joined by Matt Alston on bass (also formerly of Brainslug), Mark Giddens as synth engineer and finally drummer and D.J. Sam Christie.A melting pot of influences and styles, the Brothers Gin have created music often described as psychedelic. Upbeat with occasionally dreamy and mournful qualities, the band have proved that they can intelligently fuse a vast array of genres to create engaging and thought provoking music. After a well received period of live public appearances as well as a live radio acoustic session the band have just recorded their first demo.
