RiPPYFiSH Records is the brainchild of Cory Barber and Jerry Allen, Salt Lake City entrepreneurs. In late 2004, Barber and Allen persuaded three friends to combine their various backgrounds in business and music and form a new kind of record label. This label would respond to changes in music technology and remain sensitive to the needs and desires of music consumers at all costs. Most importantly, the label would treat musicians with respect and foster a creative environment in which they could flourish both artistically and financially.
