That Boy Big Strilla

Yo... its that boy Big Strilla aka V Strilla aka V Strong (to my VA fam... Hampton wut it do?) holding down the H. I'm just a laid back brother who is a first generation hip-hop head. I'm mostly known locally for my critically acclaimed Houston Access TV show, Take Over TV, which was started in 2002. In 2003, The Houston Press rated my partner (DEZ) and I "Houston's Best Local Cable TV Personalities". Since the shows inception celebrities such as Cee-lo Green, Scarface, Beyonce, Solange, Skateboard P, Jessie Jackson, Bun B and MC Lyte have made appearences on the show. Not to mention extensive coverage of current local rappers such as Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, Slim Thug, Mike Jones and Trae on their road to rap super stardom. Also, those less nationally known but locally revered artist as they put in their bid for the next artist to blow. Artist such as Cory Mo, Devin the Dude (local legend... he falls in the grey area), Wonderus of the Plaboy Click, Deuce Yungins, Bobbie Fine, JMoe and The Man, The Smugglaz, Young Flow, Chris P, Danja Ray, MC Fatal, the GRiT Boys and the list goes on... As a new year unfolds, Take Over TV, looks forward to reaching a wider audience as we increase or web presense and distribution. The show is all about giving artist who otherwise have limited media exposure an opportunity to be seen in the Houston and other markets. My profession... I'm a number cruncher by day... an accountant. Yea, I know boring... but hey it pays the bills. Where as video taping nigs yelling on the mic almost never did. I'm like most folks out there trying to find a balance between their dreams and reality.
