Groucho Marx.
:) Ah, well... It all started with my Pa playing various records to me when I was just a baby and my Ma having the radio on all of the time. When I was a kid, I loved Queen, Aerosmith, Micky Jupp, Dave Edmunds, Nick Lowe, Rockpile, Duke Robbillard, Prince, Willy DeVille and a lot of other stuff from my Pa's record collection. Turning 12 I had my first real music-occupation: The Beatles. Still love them a lot. Classic. Followed by the Monkees, who I loved because of the TV Show. That time I began listeing to the Beach Boys, The Kinks, The Who, The Sweet, The Rutles (I love the movie), The Hollies, Mamas and the Papas, Simon and Garfunkel... Next thing I really fell for was Poco! Still one of the greatest Bands around. I was soooo happy to see them live on stage for the first time about two or three years ago. Got to talk to the members of the current line-up and one of my personal music heros Rusty Young. Then started my Eagles-Time and I got into a lot of 60ies and 70ies West Coast Stuff like Jackson Browne, SHF, JD Souther, Linda Ronstadt, CSN&Y, Buffalo Springfield, Loggins and Messina, James Gang, Byrds... Next was my blues-rock age: Rory Gallagher, George DeVore, Aynsley Lister, Joe Bonamassa... And finally I have reached today: Kings of Leon, Jet, The Stands, The Zutons, Brendan Benson, The Raconteurs, The Kooks, The Fratellis, Hard-Fi, Hot Hot Heat, The Shins, The Blood Arm, The Films, The Greenhornes, Ben Kweller, Razorlight, Two Gallants, Mando Diao, Sugarplum Fairy, Johnossi, We are scientists, Sufjan Stevens, Bart Davenport, The Feeling, The Enemy, The Pigeon Detectives, The Bishops, The View, The Wombats, Ben Lee, The Rakes, Vampire Weekend, Dr. Dog... Just to name a few. I have about 200 CDs, 200 LPs and 25 7" and counting and I love them all (some more some less, though)
Everything Marx Brothers or Bond.
