Music in any of its forms: buying, listening, reading about, playing, writing, learning about, experiencing and absorbing.
Playing guitar quite often saves me from myself and replaces frustrations and fears and worries and sadness with a strange out of self feeling that removes me temporarily from what is really going on.
I like reading. Not so much reading my course textbooks about auditing and finance but books that I enjoy, books that consume me and allow me to fall into their pages.
I like going drives at night when everyone is in bed with some tunes on the radio and the windows down getting wet in the summer and cold in the spring and arriving somewhere in a different season from the place you left.
I miss the beach, I love all night beach parties with bonfires that burn brilliantly for an hour then start to die over a period of hours with everyone huddled round drinking warm cider and singing typical bonfire songs with acoustic guitars that still smell of bonfire.
I recently discovered that I really like writing aswell. Not anything in particular, just writing down thoughts as they appear and disappear and writing about music and life and girls and friends and those pretending to be friends and those pretending to be what they wish they could be.
