My great grandmother is probably my number 1 hero. Man, I wish she was still around right now, especially. She was such an extraordinary woman. Very giving, never taking. She taught me to have a love for literature, music and movies and to see that the writers that created them were writing about how they wanted life to be or the reality of what it really was. She introduced me to new things. She found the good in everyone and gave unconditonal love, but still remained strong. I feel like I have a piece of her in me somewhere. Artistically, I have so many heroes, there are just to many to name! Van Gogh and DaVinci are two of the greatest artists ever to have walked the earth, that's for sure. Van Gogh had such passion that he poured into his work and he lived his life that way as well. Unfortunately, that is also what made him end his life in the end. As for DaVinci, there is nothing to say but that he was a genius. He made such strides in the studies of human anatomy that he has influenced probably every great artist that followed. I started learning a lot about him in school. And, that is where I realized how amazing that man was. Personally, I consider anyone a hero who is true blue to themselves and doesn't sell out to anyone. Someone who loves truly and deeply and is proud of that.
