My name is Michael Rose and I was born in Edmonton, North London in 1976. I am a modern day artist but unlike conventional painters, I have a different artistic style, my canvas is human skin. Since I was young, I have always been interested in art, even if it meant drawing on my mother’s walls. In the summer of 1994, I finally discovered exactly what I wanted to do with my life. It was more than a young boy’s mire pipe dream of being a footballer, detective, pilot or super hero. I am not exactly sure why I chose tattooing, except I loved it. I loved it from the first moment my fingers closed around a tattoo machine and I felt the challenge and exhilaration ahead of me. Therefore, I took the plunge and started my own business as a Tattoo Artist. No I did not grow long hair and a fat belly, but set out to change opinions on tattooing and to show people that there is a lot of artistic talent involved. I do many different types of tattoos but I specialise in realism, portraits, wildlife, horror and Japanese style. All my work is custom and drawn up for the individual customer.In my free time, I like to walk my dog, watch my favourite football team play, “Spursâ€, going to the gym, shooting, playing golf and of course going out drinking and eating with my girlfriend and friends.
